Set-up Amics Inventory Control just the way you need it for your operations. Group your inventory according to TYPE, CLASS and CODE. Find products or materials by any words found in description or any combination of eight filters. Cross reference with Supplier's or Manufacturer’s part numbers that are different than yours. Establish descriptions which may differ for purchasing or sales. Define Units of Measure and Min/Max levels. Identify between Inventory, Non-Inventory and Obsolete items. Identify vendors and pricing. Easily add components, mixtures and processes as needed. Read and print bar code labels.
Create multi-layer Bills of Material. Even if a part is used in many different finished goods or subassemblies, you only have to enter it into the inventory once. From then on, it’s easy to assign or reassign each part or subassembly to as many different subassemblies and finished goods Bills of Material as needed. Part cost changes and Engineering changes are easy to edit and recalculate your new finished goods costs.
View or print a Where Used list. Amics never forgets where a part or subassembly is used. That way you’ll never eliminate a part from inventory only to find that it’s vital to some other product in your line.
Use Amics to auto-create Purchase Orders for required parts and components. Amics cross references between your part number and that of your supplier or manufacturer. Refer to prior purchases for pricing and terms. Spot Overdue Deliveries and re-cost your inventory automatically upon Receiving.
Track Serial Numbers, Batches or Lots received from your suppliers through production and shipment to your customers. Use Amics Historical Inventory Transaction data to comply with FDA and other governmental agency record keeping requirements.
Issue Work Orders which automatically show all materials and quantities to be used, their due dates and optional Routing. Production Managers can easily add unforeseen raw material and labor costs. That helps maintain an accurate bottom line for each manufactured item.
